  • PTO (small) for 800
  • Need a small pto shaft that will fit a 860 tractor or a pulley for a 502 mower that will fit the larger shaft.
    Thanks
    Phil

  • I'm not at home so can't check my parts book for interchanging, but I would be willing to trade one out of a '55 960 if it will fit. Hopefully someone will chime in that knows???

  • If you have a small 1 1/8 shaft in a 960 it should fit the 860 we would trade you a large shaft for the small one.

  • You can not buy such a thing, so I made my own. I had put a new 1 3/8" in my 2N,to replace the 1 18", so I had a old 1 1/8" male shaft. I then had an old 1 3/8" snap on unvirsal. I cut the ears off the 1 3/8" uninrsal and 1/18" old shaft, and welded them together.
    I cut 1/2" pipe 4" long and 5 " X 1/2 (different diameter for Ford 600).
I am now using this extension to hook up my rejuvenater Dearborn 14-16 syckle mower as well as my Ferguson Buzzsaw pulley, which all take 1 1/8 splines.
The only difference is the 4" longer extension and shorting the buzzsaw 3rd point top link 4 "
Having 1 3/8" pto shafts on the 2N and 600 allow me to use the bush hog direct on either tractor.
PS I now have enough extra Dearborn syckle parts, for somebody to Fabricated there own, but will take a lot of shop time. Located in Hastings MI..
