  • Govenor fit?
  • Went to put the governor back on my '39 9n this morning and noticed that while I'm able to tighten the bolts on each side, there is a small gap in the center, even with the gasket in place. I tried putting on a different gov and the gap was less, but still there. Is this bad luck or just typical fit? Do others glob in gasket sealer or what?

  • If somebody tightened it up too much it will warp. Take it apart sand paper on flat surface till you get the housing flat again. It is aluminum so do not over
    tightened.
