  • wanted, any information (literature) on these running boards. I am told the are ford-ferguson circa 1946-1947. they came with a bolt on hinge for the seat,so you could flip the seat. any literature or ads are welcome. original or copies. post or email is open!

  • Ford never made running boards for the 9N/2N tractors. Those were one of the 22 new features on the 8N Model. Many farmers made their own for their 9N/2N tractors. Several aftermarket companies made 9N/2N parts as well like this company (see LINK) offering a 'Non-Slip Step' running board. If Ford ever made them as some folks claim, then they'd be shown in accessory catalogs and have a Ford part number in MPC's as well. I have never seen anything of the sort. Until someone can show us the data otherwise (I'm not holding my breath) then that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
