  • Del,
Being I'm in Ohio I cannot pick up this part but perhaps I can pick your brain for a moment.
I have the same seat on the tractor I bought to restore. Now that I have it running finally I was wondering if there were any sites or stores that have the parts for this. I need the spring base plate and bolt under the seat for mounting the shock. My shock needs replaced and I noticed with a little torque it is going to snap rather than loosen bt it seems to be a part of the frame. The spring plate is badly rusted with holes in it so I would like to replace it to make it new again. I am unable to find locate this parts so I was wondering if you knew of any where to get them?

Please let me know if you have knowledge on this.

    Thank you
    Kevin Allsion

  • Kevin,
I will look and see if I have a base plate and try to get a better picture of the shock bolt for you.

  • I do not have an extra base plate. Here is a close-up picture of the bolt and bracket. The bolt is attached to the bracket. Do everything you can to save the whole piece complete. Lots of PB Blaster but no heat because of the rubber bushing in the shock.

  • Thanks Del
How about the bolt directly under the seat? That one is already flexing after a half can of PB blaster. Is that bolt directly attached to the frame?

To bad you did not have another base plate. That would have been very helpful thanks for looking..

  • I took the pan seat off to get a better look. There is two carriage bolts holding the seat to the spring. I tried to get it all in one picture. Is this what you are referring to? If not let me know I would be glad to help.

  • Yes it is. Is that bolt for the shock mount something that can be replaced or is it part of the frame? Mine is so rusty its impossible to tell. Even the nut has fused with the other parts in a big rusted mess. any info would be great thanks

  • That is part of the frame on this one.
