  • Neighbor's Front End Loader Hydraulics
  • I have a neighbor who helps me alot in working on my '53. Perhaps with your advise I can help him with his newer Ford tractor. His problem is in the tilting mechanism on his front end loader.

Does this bar go from one end to the other? He needs to know how this comes off.

This is the view from the ends.

He will be replacing seals in the hydraulics.

  • According to an online parts diagram, the bar in question is a NOT the full width, but instead is a short pin inserted from each end, and retained by the welded bracket and cap screw.

I'm not sure if the link below will bring you to the correct diagram, but the parts in question are shown in the "bucket quick attach device (020A)" diagram.

  • Thanks Al and Bruce for the help. This should get my neighbor started. I may have more questions so please check the board from time to time. You are much appreciated.

  • I suspect the cross bar was NOT welded as your neighbors is. He may have to grind the weld off, thus allowing the bar to slide out one end.
