  • Anyone See One Of These?
  • Seller lists it as a Dearborn Straw Crimper. Never heard of that before. It looks like a cross pollination between a disc harrow and a cultivator.

  • It's a homemade job Tim, look close it's a old Dearborn 4 row weeder frame that has had added metal & blades & new style bearings, that's all. They are calling it Dearborn cause the tag is still on the 3 point frame.

  • I thought it was just an old disk like I had before. Maybe what I had was a straw.crimper??

  • Yes, as a kid our school system had one, used it on softball & baseball fields and the football field. Had to add some weight at time but it did a good job. Happened to have a sod farm close to our town also, might have been where it came from.

  • I guess I should re-phrase my question. I wanted to know if it was an actual implement sold by Dearborn. There's no tag on it and when I asked seller, he only said he was 70 years old and that's what his dad always called it. My thought is it is not a Dearborn product but wanted more info. I never have seen it in manual form nor listed in implement books.
