  • woods bros corn picker
  • I am cleaning up an old woods picker, I was wondering if all the woods pickers were painted red. When I scrap old grease off around shafts all I find is gray/tan color. The picker has been outside so many years that it looks more rust in appearance.
There is a tag that measures 2.78 X .78 and has these letters: NO 40935 Type WB-lP located on rear tube . Any info would be helpful. Thanks Bob E

  • It is a Ferguson Wood Bros picker made during the 2N days and was painted 9N/2N gray, most parts are the same as the Dearborn Wood Bros model 16-4 picker.

  • I plan to paint it the 2N gray to match my 2N tractor. I am in the process of replacing the wood for the gathering chains, is that rough oak wood that was used or is it some other type? I will have to find decals for it also. Thanks Bob E
