  • I need a operators manual for the Ford sickle bar mower 501 7' bar. I am having difficulty mounting it to my New Holland Tractor.

  • I found the 501 mower operators manual, parts manual and sales brocuer in .pdf format. I can email them if you wish but they are poor quality.

  • Jim, I'm afraid that I don't have the owner's manual for this mower. Coupla suggestions:

Scan this forum for the owner's manual on the Dearborn 14-15/14-16 sickle bar mower and see if the info in that manual gives enough guidance to apply to yours.

Visit the N-News Archives, and look for this manual - Ford “56” & “76” Rear Attach Mowers, Mod 14-92 & 14-93, A/O Instr. (17) They charge a copying and mailing cost recovery fee ($6.29 in this case) for a photo-copy. Click on their logo below to visit their website and order a copy:

    Hope this helps............Ed

  • Display of Re: Model Index & Main Drive Info (5 pages)
  • I only display a "picture placeholders" (a square with a red X) instead of the manual picture. Does anybody have a solution?

  • Still does not display. A right click and Show Picture does not help. A Refresh does not help.
I did not find any manuals on the Ford group to display.

  • It sounds like you are having some type of browser problem on your end. I can see all the scans with either Internet Explorer v6.0 or Firefox 1.04.

    What browser are you using?

  • I don't know what to tell you then. I just tried it again with that exact config. (IE 6.0 and Win2k Pro) and I can see the pages being displayed. I'll bring this to the attention of the club's webmaster. Perhaps he'll be able to help. In the meantime, I can email you the images you need. Let me know if that will work for you.

    Hang in there........Ed
