  • Question: 961 Lift Arms
  • My good friend Don Olson sent me this question via email and thought it'd be a good one for the group discussion here...

" Do you know anyone who has an original 961 rowcrop tractor. I need to look at original rear lower lift arms. My parts book says part number nca 555-B (two) arms are unique to rowcrop tractors (except high clearance row crop). Roger said his gold tractor has 1 original and I aftermarket arm. He does not know why the 961 rowcrop has unique lift arms. Not a big deal but I would like to find out what the difference is , such as why they are different than 801 series or other models. "

  • A friend of mine has a 961 Row Crop in his garage that is suppose to be original. I drove over to his place and he cleared enough items out of the way that I could get a picture. Hope this helps.

  • 3pt arms that go down are longer than on the 801

  • Yep, 29" c-c, hard to find and expensive too. One on flea bay now for $130. I just had to buy one that was barely usable for $100.
