  • 8n main bearing torque specs.
  • What Are the torque specs for 8N main bearings? I've seen 80 pounds and then other sources show 95 to100, what should it be?

  • I think I finally found the answer. 80 pounds for nuts on studs. 100 pounds for bolts. Guess I'll be taking the oil pan off and doing a little tightening! Thanks again everybody.

  • LOL (not really). Two great sources and differing numbers. I talk with a gentleman who repairs all tractors and he said 80 pounds would be just fine. That's where I ended up going with.
