  • 2n hydraulic lift
  • When pto engaged the 3 point arms go up regardless of control lever position, engine and pump both labor until pto disengaged. Pulled the inspection cover and moved the touch control lever back and fourth and only get 1/8 inch movement of the control arm. I can grasp the control arm and move it left and right with some resistance. I move my hand up towards the top cover but can only find a burr which cut me twice between the fingers. Will top cover need to be pulled next or is there another way to inspect the linkage? No water in hydraulic oil, leak down has always been several weeks.

  • The valve is stuck or not connected. You can move the control lever and the valve will not move. It can be fixed from the side cover. You can replace the valve. Or if your cheap just take it out and knock the rust off.

Try replacing the friction disc first.

That's cheaper & easier than pulling the top cover.
