  • Engines that are covered up with tarps usually have ignition problems.Moister from the ground collects under the tarp.

  • Here's a dust cover, says it is for indoor use, for Ford Tractors. There was a fella on fleabay about 2 months ago who had some brown canvas covers with the FORD-FERGUSON logo but I'm not sure if they were the originals or not. Back when I use to store my 8N outside, I just bought a good HD canvas tarp and covered it up with bungy cords. I soon learned the value of storing it inside and have done so now for years...

  • Just finished having a barn built for storing my 8N so I don't have to tarp it...besides using for some horse related supplies. (That's how I got the wife to agree to get it)

  • I've just been buying the better grade tarps rather than the super cheap blue ones. The better ones last several years, and are a whole lot cheaper to replace than paint, seats, hoses, etc. I can buy 10 good quality tarps for the price of one fitted cover.

If you really want a fitted cover, the best bet for anything other than the 9N 2N 8N is to match up a cover for a later model tractor that is close to the same size. See the link for some fitted covers.
