  • Jubilee/NAA governor adjustment
  • My 1954 NAA runs good it's max. Rpm is 2000 I have driven other naa that seemed like they were more powerful. I have good oil pressure but wonder if timing or governor adjustment could help. I don't know how to adjust governor could someone explain how to do this thank you?

  • I just went out and looked at mine. 5 Years ago I put a new spring and new linkage on my 8N. Looking in the manual there is an adjustment to make on the linkage and making the spring tension proper. Not real complicated. Looking on the internet though I think that the NAA/Jubilee is different than the 8N. Like I said though someone who knows more than I will chime in.

  • I don't believe there is an adjustment for the governor. It has a spring that has to be at the proper tension for it to work properly I do know that. I put a new spring on my 8N and it took a while to get the spring tension just right I remember that. I will look in my manual to make sure here in a bit. Someone more knowledgeable might kick in also.
