  • I am a member of Somerset and was there Friday and Saturday. What happened to your pics? Don't see them.

  • Nice pics K.

The N with the red grill and the crease on its forehead that is preserved in paint caught my eye.

  • Thanks KLaR.. Great pictures!!
Darn it, I missed it.. was not keeping track, thought it was next week.
I really like seeing the steam engines. Not too many shows have them any more.
    Tractors look good too.

  • Went to Field Day of the Past this afternoon. I was planning to post some photos from that show, but only saw one Ford tractor, so I'll post it right here:

  • That's a shame that there was only one Ford. Don Carter usually brings one of his nicely customized 8N's. Was hoping to make it out this year, but too much on my plate right now.

  • Nice looking tractor.
We were just talking about field day.
There are usually a few 8Ns there.
How was the rest of the show?
They still have 1 or 2 steam engines, but fewer every year.

  • I think Field Day Of The Past has more small steam engines on display than they had at Somerset this year. Somerset always has more large steam tractors. The steam engines at FDOTP are easy to miss if you don't make it all the way up to the corner. Thru the gate, turn left, and go all the way to the end past the sawmill. It's near the yard sale area. The number of tractors on display at FDOTP seemed to be a lot less than last year.
