  • I'm brand new to this forum and have the opportunity to purchase a NAA that my Father owned from 1954 to 1972. I would like to talk to any members who live in the general area of Stafford, VA regarding the care and restoration of this tractor.

  • Go to NTC Manual Libary and scroll down about half way. "parts" and "Service" are on the left menu. Open the page and scroll half way down or so. Has all the parts and service manuals are there by year. About forty IIRC. All very clear and in PDF. Parts price lists etc...

Even though the printed manuals only cost about $25-$30 I like the PDF files on my computer. Depending on the quality of paper and the ability of your printer the pages will be really clear.

You can print out the pages of the unit you are working on, take them to the shop and when you spill that can of drain oil on it you haven't damaged a twenty five buck manual. Same for having to be careful not to get greasy paw prints on the pages. It's also worth it as you can expand the drawing and see exactly where that giz you took off last week really goes and what its orientation is.

  • I am not in VA but there are several members who are, Bruce(VA) for one, and he has compiled a list of 75 Tips For N-Owners -see LINK below or look in our HOW-TO's forum and download a copy for yourself. It is highly recommended you invest in an NAA Operator's Manual, an I&T F-019 Manual, and a '39-'53 MPC (Master Parts Catalog). Many PM projects are listed in our forums and archives as well. These are pretty basic and simple machines to work on so if you know which end of a wrench to use, read up and keep your manuals handy. Ask questions here as well - you're now a member as well simply by just posting now so welcome to the club.
