  • I'm not endorsing these but my wife took me shopping at Ikea for the first time last week. We went thru the "as is" section and I bought two outdoor furniture covers one for $20 and a smaller for $15. The larger covered my 4000 nicely and the smaller covered my 8n nicely. Don't know how long they'll last, they have elastic around the edges and a plastic lining on the inside. They are called tostero, I think I got the largest and the medium sizes.

  • I've had pretty good success using a canvas tarp and bungy cords doubling up with a blue nylon job. I know there is someone out there with an original Ford Storm Cover, p/n 9N-17049 and they should come forward and let me or someone borrow it to get it copied by a reputable canvas seamstress. Carpenter or Barkley could get them made too. There doesn't have to be a huge market for them -look at the hoods Carpenter makes. I can't believe he sells a ton of those.

  • Wish we had an Ikea around here. I looked out the window this morning and saw my 9N with a layer of snow on it and the storm cover wrapped around he back wheel. Was pretty windy last night.
