  • Another Vintage N-Sighting?
  • I'm not certain, but this may be a FORD or maybe a FERGUSON tractor shown in the background. The photo was taken on August 18, 1969 on Max Yasgur's farm in the Catskills of New York where over 400,000 young people gathered for a 3-day weekend of music that ran into a 4th day due to many thunderstorms that hindered bands playing.

  • Tim, it's most definitely a David Brown - Google "Pictures of David Brown farm tractors" and what comes up quickly ID's it as one.

  • Not many "environmentally sensitive" people among that 400,000 from the looks of the mess they left behind! :(

  • Looks like the general form of the David Brown in one of my prints. The rear wheel centers are way different, but the hood with intake and exhaust are very similar.

  • Close but looks like a David Brown to my eyes.

  • Ahhh, yes, I see it now. I was looking at the rear center discs and not the front end.
