  • The 4200
  • Just a little update on the Galoot tractor since I put it in the registry last year.
I put some new/used rubber on it last weekend then brought it out of the shed for a photo op.
The carb was acting up so I didn't drive it long.
    Early 3 cyl row crop.
    Enjoy

  • That's cool !
The little bit of the sheet metal that I can see looks pretty good, Any plans on some paint in the near future ?

  • Probably no paint in the near future.
    Someday?
    Fyi,
The TLB you just bought and this thing share most of their major components.
The engine, transmission and rear ends would be a direct swap for one another.
Not that you would as they were built for different purposes ie, I don't need shuttle shift and no pto in a row crop or this front end wouldn't be so good with your 8000? lb capacity front loader. But you could.

  • Thanks for sharing. That single front is cool. What’s the turning radius?

  • Thanks Rick.
I have some original dealer literature on it so looked it up.
    The wheel base is 91".
Turning radius (brake locked) is 8.7'
Not quite turning on a dime. Maybe 11 cents. :)
They do call narrow front tractors in general "the original zero turns".
