  • Ladies and gentlemen,

First post because I found your forum while researching a tractor I have that Iím looking to rehome.

I bought a NAA from a widow friend of ours to help her out and used it for a couple of years moving snow. It has a ďMid-Western Industries IncĒ hydraulic loader model 101A on it.

Unfortunately it broke one of the fins off of the fan and took out the radiator. Radiator needs recored. I donít really have a use for it and donít want to take the time and effort to restore and would like it out of my garage.

But I believe it might be a early 1951 tractor. Serial number is NAA380xx so thought maybe someone in this group might be interested in buying and restoring it.

Iím not sure of the value of the tractor as it sits but I donít have a lot in it. Also due to where itís located I would be willing to make a smoking deal if someone was interested in buying it. I live in southeastern Oregon about 3 hours west of Boise Idaho.

I donít have a photobucket account but I can be reached via email for more pics and to answer any questions at johnmegan74@gmail.com

  • Sorry folks Iím not a regular viewer of the forum and just found the replies in my junk mail folder.

I live about 10 miles outside Burns, Oregon. Roughly 3 hrs west of Boise, ID or 2 hours east of Bend Oregon.

As to the if this or that is wore out, I have no idea. I bought it, put a set of points in it, cleaned carb and ran it until the fan/radiator issue. Didnít overheat it though. Still runs fine.

Another forum member contacted me via email and after looking at the pics gave me a rough value. He believes itís a Ď53 Jubilee as well due to hood badge.

I need a larger tractor to move large square bales and need this out of my garage but didnít want to see it scrapped. After communicating w the forum member Iíd like to ask ~$1000 obo. Iím guessing the parts alone are worth that much if you wanted to part it out but I believe itís a good restoration candidate.

Email me directly at johnmegan74@gmail.com for pics because I donít have a photobucket account.

    Thanks.

  • Well, the wife has decreed that even with my impending work force retirement in another 21 days, I can't have any more projects for some time to come. I did sell off a Cub Cadet (?) front blade this weekend for $100 and I gave away a bed liner from an '87 F250. Still not good enough to get another toy. . . YET.

  • Hi John,
The serial number you gave would most likely make it a 1953 year model. What does the nose badge look like. Does it say "Golden Jubilee model" on it?

There are a couple things that can contribute to the fan blade being broken. One is that the water pump is bad and; the other and most likely, given the fact that the loader is on there, is the pivot pin and/or bushing and/or support for the front axle is bad.
    Mike
