  • 16" front wheel weights.
  • I've got a set of the 16" front weights that are marked W2. I put them on my scale and they weigh 47lbs. a piece. Is there a set of Ford weights lighter than these or is this what they all usually weigh.

  • Are you talking about split weights (2 per side) or one single weight each side?
My split weighs W2 weigh in just about 50 lbs each. (inners)
My single one piece weight weighs 58 lbs each. (outers)

  • Yep, these are split. There gonna be going on my 8n that's setup for tractor pullin'. Were there any lighter two piece sets? What do the sets weigh for the 19" rim?

  • The 19" are about the same weight. splits are about 40/50 lbs depending which foundry made them. You could try to find a single weight and mount it on the inside or just run one split weight. I'm not sure if you are trying to make weight class?
Hit my email and we'll talk.

  • Those sound like the original 2-PC Ford Front Wheel Weights. They were listed as adding 90# per side ballast. Original Ford 16" rims had four holes equally spaced for the wheel weights to mounted to. They use square head bolts, mount from the inside of the front spindles, and require a strong arm to hold while bolting on.
