  • The 8N and prior 9N and 2N never had wheel weights originally. Ballast was done using calcium chloride in the tires. The 8N offered a 16" wheel later on for use with FELs. It wasn't until the Hundred Series models were introduced that solid wheel weight were available. Both the rear pie weights and two-piece front weights were first offered. A few aftermarket companies came out with their own including 1-piece designed units for the 19" front wheels and 1-picedesigned ones for the rears. Finding any requires watching ads, internet sites, and going to farm auctions and boneyards. I do not know of anyone today making weights for these old Fords. Here is photo of the original2-PC front wheel weight set on my 8N...

  • You could try Roloff. The say they lost the mold/plug for the segmented rear weights, but they might have the mold/plugs for the front ones. They used to make both 16" and 19". I have a set of both , if they need the numbers off them. Shipping won't be cheap.

  • Kinda not answering your question, but did you look into having the tires loaded with liquid of your choice and compare that to the weight of the weights.
