  • 2N pulls a cattle semi out
  • Got the 2N ready just in time. J-1 snow plow.Loaded tires, logging chains on tires, Drawbar at 24". Cattle truck loaded with Charlois Bulls, for Texas. 9' wet snow overnite in Hastings MI
Semi had to make wide turn to miss mailbox. Front wheels slid in ditch.
MAKING A LITTLE TRACTOR PULL AT ITS MAX IN LOW GEAR< FULL THROTTLE
"PULLED SEMI BACK SO HE COULD JACKKNIFE. Missed maibox by 1 foot. Should have slid his front end around instead.

"turd hearse" on its way to Texas. $10,000 per head should help my farm buyer mortgage.
I did the same with an 8N with 12"X 12" square muck chains on. Lime spreader in mud. Pulled him out straight back from muddy field.
Also pulled a wrecker out once, as he winched both back wheel in the ditch. He had chains on but a 53 Chevy 1/2 ton 6 cylinder, didn't have enough power. Slid his front end around instead, so he could get one wheel out.
Love to pull 8" trees out with the 8N and mounted disc on.
    Inovative is the catch word.
Sure wish they would let me pull in competition rigged that way. Field conditions

  • I am wondering if that post should have started with "once upon a time" :)

  • I did a double take with this post as he posted it on YT. I believe he did what he said. He certainly did not do a dead pull, meaning truck driver only steered. Driver had to drive the semi. The tractor was just enough extra power/pull to "git'er dun".
