  • What I have found after removing inspection plate.
  • First thing I found was that a new control arm had been installed. I didn't know the old repaired control arm had been replaced. Turns out I was stupid for buying one. However, this was on flea bay free return policy. Unless someone needs one and wishes to buy this one.

The sump looks fairly clean. I think just a little flushing is all that is needed. I think I saw a How To on this.

OK, what I noticed is that when operating the easy touch control, I have to have the control lever just about to the top before the valve at the pump starts to move. I wouldn't think this was normal; is it?

  • Kimberly,

The mounting holes for the four bolts which hold the touch control to the main casting are slotted allowing you to slide it forward and back to adjust that.

    Simply adjustment.

  • Do you think that is why I was having trouble lifting implements? I am still going to remove the lift cover since I have the gasket kit with a new O-ring. I want to go ahead and inspect the cylinder and piston.

  • I don't know the answer to your question. I believe you have the FO-4. if so there are instructions in it for making that adjustment.

  • To answer your question, yes and no. Yes, I have the manual but I have no idea where it is located. I used it a year ago. I would guess it is in the shed hiding from me. When I clean up the shed, I am sure I will find it. However, I can't clean up the shed because there is a tractor in my way.

  • No sooner did I post when I remembered where I put the manual, it was in a pile of things beside my desk; when I looked through the pile, there it was. Yes, the office needs cleaning as well.
