  • I would ask what's your bottom dollar on the tractor cause purchase price is at least over a thousand dollars too high maybe more. Engine rebuilt? receipt's on work that was done. Disagree with Tim HP about 34. Jub/NAA a bastard child. Would go with 600/800 or better yet 601/801.

  • Yeah, Kirk, I had to look it up and also was questioning the HP. I had always thought the NAA & 600 134 CID was closer to 32 and the 800 was more like 45 HP. Just went by this:

  • $3400? It is like Tim said, if you are looking for a work tractor and not something specific for whatever reason; Dad had one, etc. then I would consider all options.

  • Here's a sales brochure from our MANUALS forum on the NAA/JUBILEE. Only the new 1953 model was called the JUBILEE, and the '54 was simply the NAA. The NAA was the first Ford tractor to use the new 'Red Tiger' 134 CID/OHV (Over Head Valve) engine. The 134 is listed at 48 HP but is more likely closer to 45 HP or less. Contrary to some, it was not designed for a 3-bottom plow. The Model 600 is almost a clone of the NAA. Shortly after the 600 came the 800 which now used a 172 CID Red Tiger engine, 62 HP rating, and could handle a 3-bottom plow. The OHV engines are much better than the earlier N-Series models for sure. It’s your $$$ and your decision, but evaluate your needs before purchasing to see the pros and cons of the NAA, 600, and 800. You might find you can get an 800 for the same price as an NAA or 600. Nothing wrong with a Jubilee, just spitballin’ some ideas.
