  • Governor arm fix
  • After just reading a governor adjustment post below I figured I would go ahead and ask my governor question. The arms on my gov are very wobbly and loose. I saw a video on YouTube where a guy fixed that by machining some of the parts of it. I am incapable of doing that. I was curious if anyone else has fixed this problem differently. The shop manual says shims however Iím not sure where to find said shims. My plan is to rebuild the gov in the next couple days.

  • Usually the wobbly arm is to throttle and not so much the arm connected to carb. The throttle arm can be shimmed by cutting strips from your favored beverage aluminum can.
