  • I took my old one down to a re-line shop and had it done in kevlar.

  • Yep, found out there are several different thickness clutch discs available. The new one I bought wouldn't work. Too thick or too thin moves the pressure plate fingers out of the adjustment range available in the linkage. Rather than wait for parts that might be wrong again, I fished thru a stack of used clutch discs and cleaned the best one with brake cleaner.
