  • loud crack noise
  • 9n when moving crack noise on left side. not steady but every now and then. checked front wheel bearings there fine. jacked up tractor and ran it through the gears no noise. do you think rear wheel bearings would make a crack at different times.

  • Before I got too far into this I would check/tighten all your lug nuts and rim to wheel bolts.
    You might be surprised.

  • Melvin, My Jubilee did the same thing and it turned out to be a cracked race on the outer bearing.

  • It's difficult for us to ID your noise if we can't actually hear it. We'd only be speculating and you know what they say about opinions. A 'crack' noise doesn't really tell much and could be anything. If it's a transmission issue, does it do it in all gears? Is the noise only when the tractor is in motion or does it occur when stationary as well? Is the noise coming from the front of engine, center housing, or rear end of engine? Is it when the PTO is engaged or all the time? See what I mean? More info is required and a short live video of the unit would help out 100%.

  • noise is only when the tractor is going forward never in reverse.. with the tractor jacked off the ground no noise in all gears. it seams to be in the middle of the tractor.

  • There is a fix for that. Had both of mine done at the same time 15 years ago and have never been unhappy about it. After therapy I worked mine out on a Schwinn AirDyne and have as good movement as ever. Climbing over farm equipment helped also!
