  • Even though I don't currently have the parts to repair it I went ahead & tore down the two-stage clutch assembly(I couldn't resist). Wanted to see what condition the disks were in. Nothing particularly interesting that I can see......

  • Missing one arm for idle bearing to pree against, causing some drag at that point

  • That looks a lot simpler than the one that was in my 3000. I wired the fingers down on the pressure plate before unbolting it from the flywheel and didn't attempt to take it any further apart.
