  • I bought a new top link bar for my NAA tractor awhile back, when I put the pin in the top hole with the top link it rubs on the rocker and the top link is slightly angled to one side or the other. The rocker don't look like it is bent, should I replace rocker or grind down top link loop that rubs? Any info would be great, thanks.

  • Can you post pictures? 9N, 2N,and 8Ns used the flat bar top link with all but the later 8N having the single top rocker. Later 8Ns went to the three-hole rocker. New top links can have the problem of binding in the rocker tree holes. I've had to alter Thousand Series model new links as well. Take your grinding wheel and radius over the ends to clear.

  • Grinding down the loop that rubs works for me----most links are universal, but I've had the same trouble with some of them.
