  • Glenn I was wondering if you ever found a snap in Hood cover for your 9N? We actually have a place up here in Minnesota that makes them for us they are just like the original ones. They took the measurements right off of our snap in Hood cover for 1939 aluminum Hood. You could give us a call anytime at 507-301-8303 Nancy Fossum

  • The guy in Wisconsin I bought mien from was Roger Forst, in Praire Du Chien and also made the early 9N ignition "ON" dash lamp and wire. You supplied the OEM socket. I quit doing them a few years back but maybe a friend or relative of his is now doing it. More info please, Nancy.

  • Palmer found a place here in Northfield that can fabricate the 9n hood covers. They took the dimensions off of our original 39 hood cover. They can make them either in steel or aluminum. I'm having one made right now for a gentleman and soon as I pick it up I will take some pictures and post them for you. Loren is very happy with the way they look.

  • There was an elderly gentleman from Wisconsin who made repos of the 9N Snap-In Battery/Fuel Access Door and the early 9N Ignition "ON" lamp but he no longer does it. I am not aware of anyone else making them now. N-Complete made repops too and may have a few leftover but they are out of business now. Try Red Rock Mfg Co in Pella, IA as Bob repops a few old Ford and Dearborn parts. If not, ask him and he may start to make those too.

  • I think someone on Ebay with the username kathterrel-6 is selling off the old N Complete inventory. But no battery door. No connection to me. I am not endorsing.

  • Yep, several months ago the N-Complete owner had all of his stuff on fleabay and there were 2 repop snap-ins for sale -last I saw neither sold. Can try that username/handle and see what pops. Maybe if enough folks ask, Bob at Red Rock will get some made.

  • I'm an old vintage jazz collector and love that stuff. "In The Mood" "I've Got A Gal In Kalamazoo" I bet you get kidded about your name all the time.
