  • I'm in the process of rebuilding my 1942 9N. Can not find any specs on the cam regarding lift. Any help would be appreciated.

  • My Triumph TR4 restoration project sent me there a decade or so ago and I have spent a lot of time on that site. Tilden is one of the premier sources of information on Triumph TR series camshaft and valve train performance. Unlike the traditional LBC racing crowd the Youngs are big into numerical analysis using digital computers to model camshaft/valve train mechanics. I sometimes think that they are more interested in the math than the engines themselves. Have a look at these pages if you are interested in that sort of stuff:

  • Takes you back about 7 years, but looks pretty good for 0.307.

  • Jesse, your memory is way better than mine. I had completely forgotten that discussion until I started reading it again.
