  • "Red Tiger"
  • Yesterday evening, Whilst at our annual gathering, our church`s men`s club "father Son Deer Roast", a fella saw I was wearing my "9N" ballcap, and asked about it...
    I explained the hat was a gift and that I own 8Ns - the 49 & 50 models...
He asked IF those were of the "Red Tiger" era...
I`ve not heard of the term...
He mentioned it while we were discussion the four cylinder motor in my 8Ns...
I told Ken that I`m familiar with "Red Belly" but NOT the "Red Tiger" term...
SO I also told him I will ask here...
Being as we have such a well versed bunch of 8N Gurus...
What is this Red Tiger he asked about?
Is that of anyone here`s knowledge?

    I`m Asking for friend, ;)
    Dennis

  • Red Tiger was the name given to the 4-cyl 134 c.i. OHV engine Ford introduced with the 1953 Golden Jubilee (NAA) tractor
