  • Fuel thru the air intake port throat indicates the float and/or needle valve is stuck usually. A recent member here, scroll down 2 threads to see 8N FLOODING, had the same issue and turned out it the needle float valve seat was loose. Use a wide blade chisel type tool to tighten the brass insert. A regular screwdriver won't do it and just booger up the bars slot. There is also a gasket underneath it; use it.

  • Tim, I use gun screw drivers when working on carb jets etc. They are hollow ground and don't jump out of the slots.

  • Float too tight or fuel flow not turned on.
    Plugged screen?

Remove plug from bottom of carb, Got fuel? No? Check the line going into carb. Got fuel? Got gas in tank?
Pull gas cap, does it flow? Plugged vent.
