  • 1948 front mount, 12 volt, Pertronix. My question is should the plug gap be different from original because of the 12 volt conversion and/or the electronic ignition? Thanks.

  • Depends. Did you upgrade the ign coil also? I run a .045 gap on my plugs.
    Might as well use it to get a better flame inside the cylinder.
    I figure a better blame and better burn.
