  • I'm sure that you are right about restoration costs. I was at that auction but I did not stay figuring that that tractor and it's mate, an earlier 9N, would sell for over $6000 each. I was surprised to find out that it sold for less than $4000. The other one I believe was $4000. I would have considered those prices. Oh well. I didn't "NEED" either one.

  • This was the late Dave Schafer's early 9N. Sold at auction a few years ago. This was probably built in the final days of 1939 9N Production. It sold with his s/n 9N-179 which was given to his father by Henry Ford himself the day Dave was born. Dave's father worked for Ford Farms and was the one who did most of the farming and is shown in the catalogs demonstrating the implements.
