  • 801/901 wheel question
  • Are the Ford 801 and 901 tractor rear wheels interchangeable? (Are the wheel disc center hole and bolt pattern the same)

  • As Tim says.
Not only the ones he mentioned but but the early (1962-64) 2000/4000s the 65-75 2/3000s, 76-83 26/3600s and numerous derivitives of those models. They all used the same 6 bolt 28" rim to center pattern and 8 on 6" lug bolt pattern as an 8N.

  • HiYa Dogman-
I was pretty sure at least the 2000 & 3000 models were 28" as well but didn't have my spec manuals handy to say. Question: Were the fronts all the same as well? I show the 4 x 19 used as OEM stnd equipment from '39-'53, with 8N and NAA hav8ing 5.50 x 16 and 6.00 x 16 as options. The 600 lists the 5.00 x 16 or 6.00 x 16 as stnd issue. That would indicate by the 600 model, the 4 x 19 size was now obsolete as everything after 600 is either 5.50 or 6.00 x 16. So, on the Thousand Series, were the fronts now the 5.50 or 6.00 x 16 as well? What about the Industrial Models? Seems I've read of different sizes on those.

  • Rear wheels spec'd on 8N & NAA: 10 x 28; 600 at 11 x 28; 800 & 900 at 12 x 28. Center discs are all the sane 8-Bolt pattern.
