Hi guys,

I'm working on an 8n project that I got in pieces and am trying to put together a parts list. Can anyone tell me for sure what size and length bolts are used to attach the engine to the bellhousing? Also, how many bolts versus dowels/pins?

Hi Tim,

I may have spoken too soon. I see the bolts shown on page 70 of that pdf are part number 21441-s which seem to be 7/16-14 X 1.25. However the picture doesn't show any dowels. Page 133 of the pdf mentions a dowel (cyl. block to trans) and shows part number 6397 but doesn't give a quantity or dimensions.

I'm guessing there would be two dowels and everything else would be bolts? I'm not near the engine now, but just going by memory.
