  • I found this a few days ago in the archives. It is very interesting.

    I asked Tyler if I could link it here for the new folks on the board to see.

    Stumpy referenced it on the N Board as well.

  • A while back Kelly shared with the board what he had gone through in completing his aluminum hood tractors. He didn't find all of them in mint condition to say the least. One or two of the hoods he bought seperately to fit tractors that had lost their aluminum hoods over the years.

  • That is beauty-ful! I read that Ford wanted his 9N tractor on the market as fast as possible so the hoods and grills and steering columns were punched out of aluminum while he waited for the steel dies to be built for the later steel hoods.
