Had my 8n out over the weekend and it was running great. When I was done loaded on trailer. on the ride home there was a downpour and it got drenched.Wont start now-I took distributor off cleaned and checked points and dried cap.Still wont fire. would be thankfull for any info. Jim

THey don't like water, I found that out the hard way. Ran through a mud puddle to fast and got the generator wet. Ooops! Might want to check plug wires if they get wet might stop your spark also.

hope this helps. course by now it's probly dried out and will start.
