  • My 2n ford tactor serial number is 9n298890,when was this tractor made and is it a 1947 as I was told?

  • If there are stars in front and back of the serial number, you have steel sleeves. If there are diamonds, you have cast iron.

    All 2N's ahould have steel sleeves unless somebody bored the engine for cast iron. Not common, but it has happened. Ford dealers used to do this at overhaul time.
