Ford Rouge Plt. Screw Machine Dept.
These are photo's of the screw machine department at the Rouge. The machines in the photo's are Conomatic multi-spindles. These were sold to Ford by my Grandfather's company in the 20's,30s up to 1966.
These photo's were taken in 1951. I beleive that this was the largest screw machne plant in the world at one time (100's of machines). I have lots of photo's of the plant. I also have Bower Roller bearing, Hoover Ball bearing and Dodge Plt1 (main) photo's

I have been running Cones for 41 years, I would like to see pictures of cones if you have them. Were is your plant?
