  • Low serial number 8N
  • I have seen allot of posts lately about the 39 9N's.

I was wondering why it doesnt seem like a low serial number 8N has any value as a collectors item. Wouldnt there be simialr things like the first so many 8N's produced had such and such features that the others did not?

  • A local retired guy that had a Ford Dealership for 35-40 years has an 8N with what he claim to be the 4th to the last of the numbers published. It is completely restored by him. Dont know if the number means anything or not.

  • It may to some. However even the early 8N's were produced in far greater numbers than the 9N's and there are a lot more examples readily available. It's easy to find an early 8N-it's harder to find an early 9N hence the high collectibility of the early 9N.
