  • I got a couple foot on the ground, 6 to 8 inches since this morning. Really getting it up on "The Hill". So much up there that they are asking the snowmobilers to stay away. They don't have anyplace for them to park.

  • We have 4 inches in a place where it is not allowed to snow. Good thing I was on the bike Wednesday and Thursday. Tuesday we leave for a place where it does not snow, especially in the summer.
    It is still snowing here, and may continue for a couple of days.

  • Re: Snow
  • Please keep whatever amount you receive up that way Phil as we sure don't need any down here in the central south since we've been enjoying 70 and 80 degree days here for the past few weeks!

  • Sure, Larry, go ahead, rub it in now. When you guys get those 110F days, you'll be wishing for our single digit daily HI's. At least we don't have rattlesnakes, armadillos, and tumbleweeds!!! GRIN ... ; > }

  • I hear you brother - I don't care for those high temp day's either, but have learned that I can easily shed more clothing to cool off vs. putting enough on to keep warm, especially at age 72 now - guess one's blood actually does start getting thinner as one ages 'cause when the needle in the thermometer drops below 50 here, my fingers don't want to move freely enough to twist wrenches, ha! Stay warm my friend............

  • Re: Snow
  • Yep, agreed. I'd rather have to deal with hot than cold. When I came down to D/FW back in 2008 to Bell Helicopter for a job, they all told me get ready for 100 degree days for weeks on end. But they added most every place has AC now so not a problem. I was getting geeked up for a move to Tay-Haas...
