  • Was looking at a Winchester 1873 in .357 mag.
    Anyone have one or know what kind range they have??

  • I have the little Rossi M92 in .357 & it is a fun rifle. Can't imagine you wouldn't enjoy the Winchester on the range. I considered the M92 for feral hogs(out to 100yds)but I'm afraid it would not be a humane choice. Other varmints, I would definitely use it.

  • Steve I took a friend and his young 8 year old son up to the hunting property and both sat in one of the hunting boxes. The young lad had a 357 cal. rifle (I don't remember the make)but be killed a nice little 6 point with one shot from about 100 yds. His dad bought it for him because of the recoil.

  • About 100 yards. I would like to find one to carry with my Ruger Black Hawk when deer hunting.

  • I had one years ago. They do not have the range or power of some other calibers, but
    It is nice to have a rifle and handgun that take the same ammo. The same with the 44
    mag.
