  • D-DAY -73 Years Ago
  • JUNE 6, 1944 -This is another reason why we stand when the National Anthem, "The Star Spangled Banner" is played...73 years ago today was D-Day, the Normandy invasion ... don't know if they even teach this in schools anymore...

  • And while on the subject of what may and may not be taught in schools anymore, I have to wonder what if anything is still being taught in today's history classes about the Civil War as THEY have managed to have removed nearly everything in existence that relates to the war. Here in the Houston area alone, the names of many public schools and streets (all having those names since day one back in the teens and twenties) have been removed and changed altogether!

  • Excuse me, I always thought it would be Honkey University.

Be sure to thank all the Veterans you see today and everyday...
