  • class action lawsuit
  • I'm surprised that someone or a group hasn't initiated a class action lawsuit going after the main stream media news companies that have been dreaming up and reporting fake news. Something like a great deal of harm to the citizens of the USA because of the effects of their reporting fake news. Mental anguish amid turbid times all caused by their fake news. etc. It would seem that the news reporting in this country has a responsibility to fairly and accurately report on events.

  • Though, the so-called mainstream media is clearly little more than the Ministry of Propaganda for the democrat party, class action suits are not appropriate for such circumstances.

Due to prior US S. Ct. decisions, e.g., Sullivan, the defamation bar is VERY high for public figures. That said, the NYT is well beyond the safe point of the limb regarding Palin and will likely loose unless they can throw enough money at lawyers to make it impossible for her to continue the action. Unless they can get enormous amounts from Soros, etc., they will likely settle, demanding that the records be sealed. That's how it's done, folks.

No. The so-called mainstream media recognizes no responsibility to fairly and accurately report upon events.

  • Maybe looking up the owners names and put them out in public would help. Find out who holds the corporation cards and expose them.
