  • I have some left over from bygone days & would really like to sentence some dallisgrass to death, but I'm worried my dogs will have some exposure. Spec sheet indicates it has arsenic in it, but I don't know if it can be picked up by contact after it dries.

  • Jeff - I don't know, but I saw a TV ad last night by a local (Detroit area) lie-yer trying to get a class action suit going against makers of ROUND-UP...

  • Dogs like to eat grass so I would not spray the crap.YOu can use white vinegar, epson salts with some dish soap.to make a spray.Salt brine will kill poison ivy.

  • Interesting!

You just spray it on the poison ivy?

Have some growing right by the step into my house and figure I should do something about it. I'm not terribly sensitive but someone else might be.

  • Salt Brine
  • The only "critters" near my poison ivy are wild animals.

My question was about the method of application. Sprinkling can work?
