  • FYI:
You can always do a PREVIEW of your post before actually posting it to verify things, like if a photo is showing up or not. Just enter the CAPTCHA code and click the 'preview' box first.

  • We already have a HOW-TO on picture hosting services and loading in your message post. You do know you need to use a photo hosting service to store your photos to right? Then you copy the stored picture url link to their site and paste it in your message/post here. If you mean on how to preview your message before posting, simply enter the CAPTCHA code as required, then click on the 'PREVIEW MESSAGE' box rather than the 'POST MESSAGE' box. It will take you to a preview page so you can review what you are going to post -it hasn't been posted yet until you click POST MESSAGE. Then if you want to make corrections or additions or subtractions, simply LEFT ARROW/Back Page and do what you need to do. You can make as many changes as you want with this method but note that each time you do you will be instructed to enter a new CAPTCHA code number. Once your PREVIEW post looks good, you can now post on the forum as a new dialog box is shown at the bottom. It only has POST MESSAGE and once again a new CAPTCHA code number will be required.

Here is the LINK to our HOW-TO's forum on posting pictures. It is an old document and says to use the picture hosting service called 'PHOTOBUCKET'. They were a FREE service when it was first created many years ago allowing 3rd party sharing of photos but as of this past June, they now do not allow that unless you buy into their $400 per year premium account plan. You can still have their "FREE" account, but you won't be able to share images on other web sites, not just ours. Thus many folks are left stranded and refuse to pay that amount so any pictures that were posted here before will show up in the archives with an annoying icon and no picture. They should've allowed their current members at that time to be 'grandfathered in' in my opinion and allowed to continue posting photos. We signed up originally because it was a free service. Why store your pictures there if you can't be allowed to share? You can store your own pictures on your own computer hard drive, flash drive, CD. DVD, or floppy disc. It is a stupid move on their part and many of us have left. There are alternatives. Some of us now use "IMGUR" as a free picture hosting service but they will probably switch to a paying account sometime in the future as well. You can view the discussion on this we had back a few months ago in our archives -just enter keyword 'photobucket' and look for the current dates June/July/August 2017.

    Hope this satisfies your inquiries...
