  • Big Old Sow
  • This bear walked up my driveway yesterday while I was working on one of my tractors. Grabbed the camera for a couple of shots as she walked across my fresh cut lawn. She has put on some weight over the last few years. She is easily 400 lbs or better.

  • Holy Cow!! That is one healthy looking bear!!! Look how shiny her coat is. She must have a great source of food. Did you see any cubs?? If not she might be pregnant with a few...

  • No Cubs around. In the past she's had twins and triplets. She usually spends the winter dened up between me and my neighbor. The state will come in February and check health and pull the Cubs out and weigh them

  • My buddy's son attends Lake Superior State in the northern UP of Michigan and he sent this trail-cam video of a 3-legged boar that has been hitting his bait. e think it had at one time been in a leg-iron trap and thus the loss of his one leg. Meanwhile, my buddy got skunked in the lower peninsula of Michigan last weekend on his bear hunt.
I didn't get pulled for tag this year.
