  • FRAP
  • Doing a carb swap on an '86 F250/460 from Holley to Edelbrock. Start it up and get a noise like a socket bouncing around. Turn it off. Was that the starter fluid causing a spark knock? more starter fluid and fire it off again. More noise and turn it off.
Why not do it a third time? Now it has a dead hole. So after some effort the intake is off and no sign of anything. The plugs also came out without any damaged electrodes. This is getting to be fun. Tomorrow will be buying a few magnets and rotating the engine through and see if I can fish anything out the plug holes.
I don't need this much entertainment.
